Connections for Children’s (CFC) Play Together, Grow Together: A Family Learning Festival is a new event created to directly support our community!

Event Details:

Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Torino Festival Plaza, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA 90503

This FREE learning festival will bring together children and families for interactive, nature-inspired activities that encourage healthy parent and child interactions and foster a love of learning. Families will enjoy hands-on activities while accessing valuable health and well-being resources. The festival includes opportunities for exploration, including planting seeds, painting pots, engaging in sensory activities with natural materials, and more. Valuable resources will be shared during this event that celebrates our vibrant community and our earliest learners!

We are also excited to share that Mija Books will join us and host a book fair where families and children can select up to two free books from Connections for Children and explore even more great reads for purchase!

Providers are welcome and encouraged to attend with their families to learn more about resources that could benefit your own family and the families you serve. Providers can also participate and observe in activities set up for children as a vehicle of inspiration for your own learning environments. There will be great giveaways and a variety of resources with tips and tricks on how to extend the fun and learning with your children.

We also invite providers to share the event with the families in your care so they can also take advantage of this exciting opportunity!
