Santa Monica Child Care Support Program:
Funded by the City of Santa Monica for Santa Monica residents who are working or are students and have children from birth through age 5 or who are ready for kindergarten. We strive to give families the opportunity to enroll children in accredited child care programs, therefore parents must select a licensed facility.
- Eligibility: Only to City of Santa Monica residents who are students, working, or job seeking
- Serves Children From Birth to Kindergarten
CalWORKs Stage I:
Department of Public Social Services funding for participants receiving CalWORKS and have children birth through age 12.
- Eligibility: Working, CPS-referred
- Serves Children From Birth through 12 years
CalWORKs Stage II:
California Department of Education funding to help families receiving CalWORKS who are students or working and have children birth through age 12.
- Eligibility: Working, DPSS-referred
- Serves Children From Birth through 12 years
CalWORKs Stage III:
California Department of Education funding to continue assistance to former TANF students or working clients with children birth through age 12.
- Eligibility: Former TANF working clients and eligible Stage 2 clients
- Serves Children Birth through 12 years
